₹1000 for each backpaper

The number of admissions have been decreasing in past three sessions namely  2014-15, 2015-16 & 2016-17. "90% engineering seats at APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University have no takers this year" as per TOI article at
And now it seems that the greedy management of AKTU has devised a new method to meet their financial targets. From 2005-06 to 2014-15 session the fee for carry over examinations has been 500 per subject. Last year the fees for carry over exams was increased from ₹500 to ₹750.  And this year the fee for carry over examinations application (referred to as back papers in the circular) has been increased from 750 to ₹1000, (along with the fees related with masters courses under AKTU) as per the following circulars

AKTU has never mensioned the reason behind such changes, because there is no one to ask them. AKTU(formerly known as UPTU) is well known to fail in following their own deadlines and rules. They make a new rule when the original one becomes difficult to follow. And they never show evaluated asnswer sheets even if the student has challenged the result by paying 5000 per subject, because Aktu has not defined any rules regarding challenge against results on their website aktu.ac.in .
